Manage anonymized, opt-in crash/usage telemetry (spec #224). Enable/disable are CLI-only by design — consenting to data collection is a decision only a human should be able to make, so no MCP tool can flip it. The MCP surface (TelemetryTools) exposes the non-destructive half: read-only status, which distinguishes raw consent from whether the two-key gate (consent AND a configured delivery destination) is actually sending anything.

Command line

telemetry enable

Opt in to anonymized telemetry

telemetry disable

Opt out of telemetry

telemetry status

Show telemetry consent and whether data is actually being sent

MCP tools

telemetry_status

Get the current Vibrai telemetry status: whether consent is recorded, whether a delivery destination is configured, and whether telemetry is EFFECTIVELY active (both must be true — the two-key gate). Also returns the telemetry privacy policy URL. Read-only — there is no MCP tool to enable or disable telemetry; use the vibrai telemetry enable|disable CLI commands.
